Are you a passionate and energetic physiotherapist? The Physiotherapy practice of the Sport, Exercise Medicine and Lifestyle Institute (SEMLI) at the University of Pretoria is looking to recruit a full-time Physiotherapist to join their dynamic team from April/May 2025.
We are seeking a dedicated full-time physiotherapist to consult patients in our practice located at the beautiful sports grounds of the University of Pretoria.
Job Description:
- Independently manage sports-related injuries (patient assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, design return-to-play and injury prevention strategies) at SEMLI
- Travel with sports teams and provide field-side first-aid assistance
- Mentorship to UP Physiotherapy students
- Contribute to the research & teaching outputs of the Physiotherapy practice at SEMLI
- Multidisciplinary collaboration
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters in Physiotherapy
- 2-4+ years’ experience working within a sports Physiotherapy setting
- HPCSA membership
- Valid First aid and Basic life support
Other requirements/qualities:
- Ability to work within a coach-driven and multidisciplinary system
- Passion for the industry and profession
- Teamwork
- Ability to show initiative
- Honesty & professionalism
- Able to work under pressure
Salary:
- The salary package offered will be market-related and contain base salary and commission components.
